New production – Little Light

Next month Vision Mechanics starts rehearsals for Little Light, our international co-production with Haya Cultural Centre, Amman.

Little Light is a new devised show for age 5+.  Set in a traditional Bedouin tent, it combines puppetry, music and dance to tell the magical story of a little light, a lonely boy and a dog.  Little Light will be directed by Symon Macintyre, Kim Bergsagel will lead on design and the show will feature Hanin Awali and Mohammad Awad, two performers from Haya Cultural Centre.

Little Light will be touring to venues all over Scotland in March and April 2018, including as part of the 2018 Puppet Animation Festival.  Full tour details to follow soon. The tour is supported by Creative Scotland and the British Council.
